We begin on Capitol Hill where a mysterious man kept our city wet during Prohibition and learn to create a seasonally inspired take on DC’s signature cocktail. We travel to the tidal basin near the National Mall and learn why exactly we have the cherry blossom trees and who were the women behind the project. We finish the class by creating a fruit-focused cocktail inspired by a local women-owned distillery.
